Eating Disorders

Having an eating disorder means not having a real life. It’s going to a friend’s sleepover and staring at their chips and pop and eating it then crying in the washroom cause of how utterly disgusted you feel about yourself. THAT IS NOT NORMAL.

Having an eating disorder means you are probably so utterly defined by your looks that if you gain half 2 pounds your life feels like it’s over.

It means when you go through a day without eating it’s the biggest accomplishment in the world.

It means when you try to recover because your family and friends notice you cry like a young disturbed child having a tantrum cause now they’re making you eat and now you can’t lose weight the unhealthy way.

Then you have to eat a full meal cause you probably have to run to the washroom and vomit cause now your body doesn’t even know how to take normal meals.

It means that your hair will start to fall out from nutritional loss and if you go into a shower you may faint and black out cause your blood pressure dropped and now you’ve let it go too far.

WAKE UP EATING DISORDERS KILL PEOPLE.

It means putting yourself at risk for heart attacks and all sorts of other health problems.

The price of being thin is over rated and it’s not worth dying over.

If you or anyone you know is struggling with anorexia or bulimia it’s more common than you think. Visit: http://www.focushelps.ca/topic/eating-disorders?gclid=CNze-5yL0LYCFUeCQgod_hcAsg

Or talk to a counselor. Which by the way is free in Canada. You probably can’t do it alone and if you try to it’ll take forever.
