Writers

The tortured writer stereotype is attractive in so many ways. That person who sits in Starbucks all day and writes their novel. Endlessly trying to polish it off. When I was twelve I wanted to be a writer. Books were my life some days because I would spend so much time reading young adult fiction. Then I went to high school and discovered I did not want to be one. It's a tricky thing though because writers are a curse of their own talent, in my opinion. To be vulnerable and to have a voice. It's powerful and cool but a big responsibility. I want to meet a writer one day.
