Child abuse.

Parents who plan their kids future out down to the last detail should just go fall out of a tree. Parents who beat their kids cause they got a B instead of an A cause “Oh I love you that’s why it’s the tradition” should not reproduce. Parents who leave their kids at home alone all day and think that’s acceptable should go see a social worker. Those who insult someone's entire profession should not talk. I mean, do you hear yourself when you speak?? People like westbourgh Baptist church who teach children to hate the world should just fricken just ugh. Kids are so vulnerable they need support to make any sort of progress in the public school system or in fricken life for that matter. Teaching that these values are “normal” is to me just insane. How do you live with yourself and sleep at night :/? Our society has resources that other places don’t…

There’s a difference between giving somebody the facts about a career and just being completely biased and unrealistic. Honestly. We are just trying to make it in this god forsaken world. Whatever you say to children they don’t just forget it, they’re not dumb. You form these ideologies into their brains that aren’t fully developed yet biologically and BAM CONGRADULATIONS!  You’ve created the future of mental illness and self harm and low self esteem everywhere.

There is a difference between saving up a college fund for a child’s future and saving up so you can manipulate and control your lives. These students statistically grow up to be so utterly defined by that label they are so unhappy. Cause apparently upper level education makes the world go round. Congrats once you’ve become a doctor lawyer teacher brain surgeon AND a super hero you are accepted J! CALM DOWN LIVE YOUR LIFE NOT THERE’S.

You should not have kids if you’re gonna do that to them. And I can make that statement cause I’ve met so many kids since I was a preteen and have been their caregivers (which by the way should never have happened cause a preteen shouldn’t babysit children) and seen their personal struggles. There are all kinds of families out there and I respect their values and cultural norms religions and all their rules in the holy bible or law books BUT CALM DOWN. Take some yoga or meditate for gods sake.  

Honestly, this is why I’m dropping out of UBC. I’m not going to have that kind of responsibility working in social work or counseling or teaching. That kind of responsibility is incredible. It takes a special kind of person to do that. EVERYONE TAKE YOGA AND BREATHE.
